The beginning!!!!

I was looking at Google account and i stumble upon my lonely blog, which i did when i was in college some years ago. Never thought i would write again. My job requires me to be away from home. Decision to write something down for my friends, family and myself about my daily adventures seemed a good way to stay connected. Blog could also be a great way to practice my long forgotten english.  Its been a while since i wrote anything in english, i decided hat creating a new blog and keeping it up to date could be a great way to practice my writing. So, to my english speaking friends, be patient with me, once this blog gets its momentum the grammar will get better.
For those who do not know, I still  play basketball. My basketball career tossed me around a little. I played in Lithuania and Ukraine. Three years ago i signed a contract to play in Siberia:)) and believe me, this land is not forgotten after all. I live in the town called Surgut. Many people might not know where it is, but each one of us, one way or another are affected by the activities happening around this town. This is where all of the gas is coming from. Most of the gas is pumped out of this area and delivered to all the gas stations in Russia. This region is also a major supplier of gas to most of the European nations. Anyway, the growth of this town since the day the gas was discovered is tremendous. From a little town it once was, it became one of the most desirable places to live. The pace the town is transforming itself is unbelievable. I see new building and new attractions open up each year. Finnish up i would like to say that no matter where you live, ultimately it all depends on you character and desire to enjoy life.

I would like to introduce to you, my lovely girlfriend Irina. She is very charismatic, outgoing and kind girl. She had a great day today, she was rewarded a diploma for her dedication and effort at work . She is not only an outstanding worker, but a great person as well. Always looking sharp no matter what. Born and raised in Siberia she learned how to look good no matter what  kind of weather is outside the window. But anyway, i would like to congratulate you for your diploma, and we gonna make sure to hang it up on the wall.
